Two Stamford Artists: D. F. Hasbrouck & LaMont Warner is a glimpse into the personal lives and artistic accomplishments of two very different men. D. F. Hasbrouck had a relatively short life, a taste for drink, and, occasionally, a loose grip on reality. LaMont Warner lived to 94, was an elder in his church, and a lifelong teacher, although he was not as straitlaced as these facts suggest.What did they have in common? Besides a love of beauty, each was a devoted husband and spent his whole life creating.
